Supply & Portable Water Installations

When BuildWorths Ltd decided to add Building Technology to its range of services, it was a less difficult task to decide that FRAENKISCHE shall be our sole supplier and technical support provider.

FRAENKISCHE is a world leader in the manufacture of supply, waste and storm water pipes and conduits pipes for electrical cabling and installations. We are committed to the high quality of our products, and the highest level of reliability and service. Our goals are to make installation as efficient and safe as possible and our products as installer/ plumber friendly as possible.

To achieve these goals, we constantly keep our plumbers/installers engaged in the development of our products, and eagerness for innovation hallmark the development of our products.

Our system for drinking water and heating installation is called alpex. It includes all components necessary for a professional installation. It goes without saying that we provide a 10-year certificate for all alpex system components. With this certificate, FRÄNKISCHE practically gives a 10-year warranty for the technical reliability of products and systems.

Unfailingly high-quality material, intelligently designed easy-to-install systems and a manufacturer you can rely on. Together with the installer’s good workmanship, this pays off twice for the installation of drinking water and heating systems.

For a perfect preparation of projects in building technology, we offer the professional planning software profiplan which helps with the efficient planning and implementation of projects while being extremely easy to use. In addition to some very helpful simulation tools, the software also features a tool for heating load calculation and, of course, numerous options for higher project administration.

Generally, separate sewage systems should be used to transport wastewater and stormwater and not, as was the case in the past, in a combined sewer system.

Requirements and goals

• high-quality, reliable sewer systems that satisfy long-term operating requirements
• permanently leak tight and corrosion-resistant sewer systems to prevent environmental damage
• maintaining and ensuring the technical infrastructure and preserving the value of a national wealth grown over generations

Storm and Waste Water Systems

Wastewater is water that has been altered by domestic, industrial, commercial, agricultural or other uses and dry weather flows (wastewater) and runoff collected from built-up or paved areas (stormwater).”

Wastewater

• domestic wastewater from toilets, bathrooms, kitchens and washing machines
• wastewater from business transported to the public sewer system

Stormwater

• stormwater from uncritical source areas that does not need to be treated
• stormwater runoff or from problem or critical source areas that contains dissolved dirt particles pollutants and that must be treated

The challenge

Our challenge begins where rain falls on roads, squares, roofs, airports, stadiums or other paved areas: re-establishing the natural water cycle where it is interrupted and returning the water to natural storage areas. We call this challenge stormwater management.

Our competence

Our partner FRÄNKISCHE has been working on urban and road drainage for more than 30 years. Stormwater management has gained more and more importance in these fields and has become the benchmark for an eco-friendly performance. We know today that every challenge related to stormwater requires cooperation, systematic thinking and fast action.

The Solution

For decades, our products have set the trends in the industry. They uniquely combine economy and ecology. This is how we manage to return stormwater to the natural cycle without causing flood damage in cities or municipalities.

Reliability and Protection of Water Bodies

Collected stormwater can be polluted with different materials, e. g. coarse dirt, mud and light liquids from road traffic or industrial facilities. These materials can cause malfunctions of stormwater management systems such as infiltration Swales. In addition, they can pose a threat to downstream water bodies or the groundwater. In this case, stormwater must be treated before discharge or infiltration. This treatment must verifiably meet the specific operational requirements and requirements of water regulation according to state-of-the-art technology.

Innovative alternatives

Conventional systems are often open concrete stormwater sedimentation tanks according to DWA-A 166. They require a lot of space and a considerable excavation depth. FRÄNKISCHE provides a comprehensive range of alternatives. SediPipe replaces e. g. stormwater sedimentation tanks and provides great advantages for construction and later land use thanks to its low excavation depth. The system does not consume any surface space. The land can be used for car parks or roads and tracks.
